Golden Gifts
Change comes when people advance causes they believe in. Real, sustainable community improvement requires the support of committed people. This year we are excited to introduce our new “Golden Gift Page”. These Golden Gifts shared from each organization are clear, ambitious, and attainable — but only with your support.
Boys & Girls Club
A Place to Chill
It’s hot in the summer, and the kids at our Eastside Branch need a place to chill. Our goal is to build a large covered patio for our kids to enjoy the shade outdoors while eating lunch, to play when the playground is getting too hot, to rest from games on the sports fields and to generally enjoy the outdoors during our hot Texas summers. With a gift of 16,000.00 you will help us accomplish this goal.
Gill Children’s
Restore a Smile
Gill Children’s Services helps over 400 children a year with oral health pain. A typical client for Gill averages $300 per dental visit. With a gift of $25,000, Gill would be able to restore a smile to 83 children.
Child Study Center
Achieve Their Full Potential
A $20,000 gift would allow our pediatricians more time to spend evaluating children by providing a portion of a salary for a medical assistant to coordinate care for children with developmental disabilities. This will ensure that the children who come to the Center for care achieve their full potential.
Union Gospel Mission
God's Healthy Place
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County serves up to 750 residents and guests from the street daily through our programs and services. Many of these individuals have serious health issues that are
untreated. A gift of $25,000 would provide 6 cardiac defibrillators (one
for each building) and a gasoline powered transporter. Your gift today
sustains our life-changing ministry, preparing us to meet the emergency
needs of homeless men, women, and children. Such practical items ensure we
remain God's healthy place to end homelessness, one person at a time.
Rocky Top Therapy
Keep Little Miracles Happening
Riding experiences at Rocky Top Therapy can lead to beneficial life changes as unique as each rider. Your support allows Rocky Top to help build brighter futures and greater opportunities for each of our riders in a fun environment. As many of you know, caring for horses is extremely rewarding but also very expensive. To help keep little miracles happening in our arena every day, we are asking for a gift of $7,500.00, for new western style riding tack for 5 horses.
NICA
The Texas Sun
Located in the historical Fort Worth Stockyards and serving 41,000 clients each year for the last 16 years, we have been fortunate to see many lives change in our halls, but as the Texas sun reminds us every summer our facility needs a little work. A gift of $13,800 would replace our two original air conditioners.
Ronald McDonald House
Provide a Lifeline
It takes a village to care for a sick child. A gift of $25,000.00 would provide a computer in each of the 38 family rooms to allow those families to stay connected during this critical time in their child’s life.
Tarrant Area Food Bank
Let’s Turn Empty Tables Into Health Meals
Today, thousands of our neighbors are hungry, and getting to grocery store or the Tarrant Area Food Bank facility can be difficult. The Mobile Pantry Program brings the pantry to the areas in our community facing the most need. With your support of $25,000 up to 800 families will receive approximately 40 pounds of food each month turning empty tables into healthy meals.
Catholic Charities
Healing the Scars of Abuse and Neglect
Catholic Charities Fort Worth is looking for 5 leaders to join our “Legacy of Hope” society in making a lasting impact in the lives of children who reside at our Assessment Center. With $10,000, you can sponsor a bed at the Assessment Center for an entire year. This will allow us the opportunity to provide the children entrusted to us with all the services they need to begin healing the scars of abuse and neglect. But even more important, you will be providing a child with hope for a better tomorrow.

However, to assure we can improve our efforts, a gift of 10,000 will enable us to purchase a new server. Please consider helping us to continue to grow.
CASA
Give Them a Voice
The CASA volunteer advocate is at the heart and soul of our organization. Without their help many abused and neglected children would not have a voice in the courtroom. Each volunteer goes through 30 hours of in-depth training. Help give these children a voice with a gift of $10,000 to provide training to 19 new advocates.
KIDS WHO CARE
Communication! Communication! Communication!
A donation of $20,000 will enhance Kids Who Care’s effort to meet our financial needs; be able to maintain, improve and enhance our current programs, by allowing us to purchase a professional colored copier. We rely so much on communication to a large variety of people, businesses, and agencies this purchase would drastically help us save money in our future. Your generosity today enables children to continue to produce great work and life-changing experiences.
Cancer Care
A Daily Battle
Caring for a person and family with cancer is a daily battle and having the right technology and systems in place is a vital part of the care plan. A gift of $10,000 would help us stay in and ahead of the fight with the purchase of new technical upgrades and critical staff training and the purchase of other IT equipment which will allow us to provide better and more efficient services to our clients and families in their time of need.
